Project HERO:
Darrell’s Full VA Tracker
A front-end-only VA coaching workspace for intake, claim tracking, evidence status, document follow-up, meeting notes, local autosave, printable records, and PDF export. This is the complete working page to paste into Beaver Builder.
How To Use This Page
- Fill out the Intake tab first with client name, meeting date, next appointment date, and main issue.
- Select the current VA case stage to update the progress bar.
- Add deadlines and barriers in Claim Status.
- Mark requested, received, and evidence-submitted items in Documents and Evidence sections.
- Run validation before saving snapshots or exports.
- Use Meeting Notes for meeting summary, action plan, and personal care reminders.
- Use Handoff Email to auto-build a team update.
- Save snapshots for searchable local history.
- Export TXT or PDF for offline records.
- If you want claim status from VA.gov itself, that requires approved authenticated API integration, not just this front-end page.

VA.gov API
The VA Benefits Claims API exists and can retrieve claim information, but it requires proper authenticated integration and is not a simple front-end drop-in. [web:96][web:102]
Date Alert Emails
True email notifications need backend support or an email service; front-end-only email is limited to `mailto:`. [web:100]
Browser Alerts
Browser notifications can work if the user grants permission and the site is running in a secure context such as HTTPS. [web:97]
Progress Bar Libraries
If you later want a library, ProgressBar.js is lightweight and built for animated bars, but this page already includes a working CSS animation. [web:104][web:101]
