Give Something That Changes Tomorrow.

Money can help. A pallet of food can help. A computer can help. A vehicle can help. Building materials, equipment, professional expertise and one company willing to say “yes” can help.

Heaven Sent Community Services & Veterans Assistance uses financial and in-kind support to strengthen practical, dignity-centered service for Veterans, people experiencing homelessness, seniors, people with disabilities, families, disaster survivors and neighbors in crisis.

Every Resource Has a Purpose.

The goal is not simply to collect things. The goal is to put the right resources in the right place where they can responsibly help people.
Dignity First People are never treated like leftovers.
Quality Matters Safe, clean, usable and appropriate.
Mission Focused Resources support legitimate mission needs.
Responsible Stewardship Trust deserves accountability.
Mop and Manie, Heaven Sent's comfort and compassion mascots
Because every person deserves a little warmth and a safe place to land.
A Little Love Goes a Long Way

Meet Mop & Manie. Meet the Heart Behind the Mission.

A gift isn't just a number on a receipt. It can mean comfort for a child, encouragement for a Veteran, or a moment of relief for a family having a difficult day.

Mop & Manie remind us why Heaven Sent exists: resources matter, relationships matter, and people matter most. We handle gifts with care because every donation carries someone's hope that it will make a difference.

“They don't need judgment. They need a safe place to land.”
Two Powerful Ways to Help

You Don't Have to Write a Check to Make a Difference.

Some of the most valuable support a nonprofit receives never arrives as money. It arrives on a truck, on a pallet, through a professional skill, or because somebody opened a door.

Financial Giving

Financial contributions give Heaven Sent flexibility to respond to legitimate mission needs, strengthen operations, support client services and responsibly develop future capacity.

Donor restrictions and designated purposes accepted by Heaven Sent are handled according to their intended purpose and applicable requirements.

+

In-Kind Giving

Businesses, manufacturers, retailers, contractors, professionals, churches and community members may be able to help with products, equipment, materials, services, transportation resources or expertise.

Before arranging a large donation, please contact Heaven Sent so we can confirm the item is currently useful, appropriate and able to be responsibly received.

Sometimes the Thing Sitting in Your Warehouse Is Exactly What Somebody Else Needs.

Our Non-Negotiable Standard

If We Wouldn't Give It to Our Own Family, We Don't Give It to Yours.

Being donated does not automatically make something appropriate for a client.

Items distributed through Heaven Sent should be safe, clean, usable, appropriate and dignity-preserving.

If we would not reasonably wear it, sleep on it, eat it, use it, or feel comfortable giving it to someone in our own family, we should not hand it to somebody simply because that person is homeless, poor, elderly, disabled or in crisis.

A person's hardship does not reduce the quality of care they deserve.

People Helping People — Because We All Matter

You May Already Have Something We Need.

It might be $25. It might be a truckload of food. It might be twenty computers, work boots, a trailer, building materials, professional expertise, warehouse equipment or one introduction that opens the next door.

Whatever you can offer, start with a conversation. We'll determine whether it fits a current or planned mission need and the responsible way to put it to work.
