In Florida and across this nation, too many veterans are battling homelessness, PTSD, addiction, disability, and silent despair in the shadows. We built Project HERO so they never have to fight those battles alone again.
What Project HERO Is
Project HERO is Heaven‑Sent’s frontline veterans assistance hub – a place where no service member is reduced to a case number, and no story is “too complicated” to walk through. Here, combat veterans, Guard and Reserve, military families, and surviving spouses find a battle‑ready team that understands moral injury, invisible wounds, and the long tail of service‑connected crisis.
We combine veteran‑to‑veteran coaching, housing navigation, financial triage, vehicle and employment support, peer‑to‑peer groups, and faith‑centered encouragement so that every hero can move from survival mode to stable, purpose‑filled living – and, when ready, into the long‑term stability of the Heaven‑Sent Safe Harbor Residence.

We start where the fire is hottest – keeping you safe, housed, and heard.

2. Rebuild the Mission
Once the fire is contained, we help you build a new mission plan that fits who you are now.

VA Coaching – Joe, Tim & Darrell
VA coaching at Heaven‑Sent is not one person at a desk – it is a three‑service battle team. Joe (U.S. Navy), who is known for taking the hardest cases and refusing to quit, Tim (U.S. Army & U.S. Air Force), who brings boots‑on‑the‑ground housing and disaster experience, and Darrell, a retired U.S. Army Special Forces NCO, serve together so no veteran stands alone in front of the VA system. Darrell’s VA Coaching Room is where that Special Forces mindset shows up in the paperwork – calmly, line by line – while Joe and Tim stay engaged on the housing, income, and stability side so your whole life moves forward, not just your rating.
What Our VA Coaching Team Helps With
- New VA claims – service connection, secondary conditions, PTSD, TBI, MST, and other invisible wounds.
