Branches of
Heaven – Sent
As indicated in the business name, Heaven – Sent is separated into two branches that are intertwined:
Seniors Disabled and veterans Assistance. The senior and disabled branch operates under ADA and Agency on Aging guidelines and is operated through the guidance of the National coalition for the homeless. The Veterans Assistance branch was formed to provide the assistance some veterans need to overcome personal crisis crises such as divorce, unemployment, homelessness and the hell of PTSD. Additionally, the Veterans Assistance will provide medical, mental and optical assessments and treatment for veterans, and their families. Both branches are described in depth below.
Free Services With Dignity
All these services are free of charge. Heaven Sent’s public mission centers on relief, hope, dignity, and lifelong empowerment for veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and their families, so this page is designed to present those supports in a clear and compassionate way.
Senior Services
Heaven-Sent Community Services and Veterans Assistance is built on two core principles: honoring the dignity of every person and walking beside them on their long road to recovery. For seniors and disabled individuals, services focus on safety, stability, independence, and human connection so they are not forgotten in their hardest years.
Emotional and Social Support
Veterans
Heaven-Sent Community Services and Veterans Assistance prioritizes guiding veterans through the complex maze of federal benefits they have earned but often struggle to access because of paperwork hurdles, lack of awareness, or system navigation challenges.

BPS Crisis Support
Heaven Sent’s strategic plan includes peer support, mental health and wellness referrals, and Battered Person Support & Safety partnerships as part of crisis response for veterans and families under pressure.
Peer-to-Peer Intervention Saves Lives
Veterans often reach a breaking point at the end of their funds, waiting for the next paycheck, with nowhere to turn. When tensions escalate at home, Heaven-Sent becomes the bridge—one brother, one sister, one hand at a time.
Domestic Violence, Trauma, and Veterans
Domestic violence and intimate partner violence are serious issues in the veteran community. Research and VA program guidance recognize the need for trauma-informed support, safety planning, crisis intervention, and help for veterans, partners, and families affected by intimate partner violence.
These patterns are often linked to deep wounds such as post-traumatic stress, military sexual trauma, combat exposure, transition stress, alcohol or prescription misuse, and untreated mental health challenges. When all of that pain lives inside a home with no support, tension can build until a crisis explodes.
Because of this, Heaven Sent’s peer-to-peer BPS model focuses on early intervention, safe shelter, and trauma-informed de-escalation—not to excuse violence, but to interrupt it. We work to protect spouses, partners, and children while also helping veterans face the truth of their actions, connect to counseling, and begin a path toward accountability and healing.
Protecting Families of Children with Autism
Parents of children with autism face unique crises that too often lead to misunderstood arrests. No national statistics exist, but news reports and legal advocates document these tragedies regularly.
Common triggers include:

Heaven-Sent Community Services and Veterans Assistance, Inc. BPS Program
Why Our BPS Program Matters at Heaven-Sent Community Services and Veterans Assistance, Inc., we created the BPS Program (Bridge Peer Support) to step in when veterans and families face crisis moments that could lead to arrest, jail time, or family separation. Who better intervenes than fellow veterans and trained peer supporters who understand the struggle?

Peer-to-Peer Intervention Saves Lives
Veterans often reach a breaking point at the end of their funds, waiting for the next paycheck, with nowhere to turn. When tensions escalate at home, even a short separation can feel impossible because hotel costs, gas money, or even a meal may be out of reach.
Pride keeps many veterans from asking for help. If you are like so many of us, you do not want to admit you need support. Heaven-Sent becomes the bridge—one brother, one sister, one hand at a time.
Protecting Families of Children with Autism
Parents of children with autism face unique crises that too often lead to misunderstood arrests. News reports, advocacy work, and first-responder guidance continue to show how behavioral differences and communication barriers can escalate family crises when autism is not understood.
Common triggers include elopement, stimming, meltdowns mistaken for aggression, nonverbal children being unable to explain themselves, parents being blamed when they call for help, and legal standards that do not reflect autism realities.

Heaven Sent refuses to let veterans, parents, or families fall through the cracks of a system that does not understand their reality.
