See The Vision

More Than a Campus. A Path Forward.

Safe Harbor brings the pieces people too often have to search for separately into one coordinated vision: housing, training, food, case management, transportation, disaster readiness, technology, recreation, community support and pathways to greater independence.

Conceptual vision for planning, partnership and fundraising purposes. Final site layout, capacities, architecture, engineering, infrastructure and facilities remain subject to site control, professional design, funding, zoning, permitting and applicable approvals.

The Safe Harbor Idea

Heaven Sent meets people where they are. Safe Harbor helps them build where they are going.

Heaven Sent's work does not begin at the gates of a campus. Our mission is carried into the community through outreach, food and feeding, client casework, Veterans assistance, housing navigation, transportation, disaster response, pastoral care, and support for seniors, people with disabilities, families and neighbors experiencing crisis.

Safe Harbor is the next step.

The Safe Harbor Master Program is being developed as Heaven Sent's flagship integrated initiative: a place where people can move from crisis toward stability and from stability toward opportunity.

Foundations & Philanthropy

Corporate & In-Kind Support

The Long-Term Vision

Build the Model. Measure the Outcomes. Replicate What Works.

The first Safe Harbor is intended to demonstrate what can happen when outreach, housing, workforce development and supportive services operate as parts of one coordinated system. Future replication would depend on demonstrated need, measurable outcomes, funding, partnerships, land availability and local approvals.

SAFE HARBOR

We Are Not Asking One Organization to Build Safe Harbor. We Are Inviting a Community to Build It Together.

Heaven Sent will continue going into the community every day. Safe Harbor is being developed so that when someone is ready for the next step, there is somewhere for that next step to lead.
