Peer Support & Community Connection Center
Sometimes the first thing a person needs is not another form, another office, or another explanation. Sometimes they need someone willing to listen.
This is a welcoming connection point for Veterans, service members, seniors, people with disabilities, caregivers, families, and neighbors facing difficult circumstances. Heaven-Sent can help connect you with peer support, pastoral encouragement, practical resources, referrals, and the right next step.
A Place to Be Heard—and Help Finding What Comes Next
Heaven-Sent believes people should be able to ask for help without being treated like a problem. Whether you are a Veteran who misses talking with people who understand military life, a senior living alone, a caregiver carrying too much, a family in crisis, or someone simply trying to get through a difficult week, you deserve to be treated with respect.
Peer support does not mean pretending we have every answer. It means listening, sharing experience when appropriate, helping identify practical options, and connecting people to qualified services when a need is beyond Heaven-Sent's scope.
What You Can Ask For
Someone to talk with. A respectful conversation without judgment.
Veteran connection. Help connecting with Veteran-focused support and resources.
Prayer or encouragement. Faith and pastoral support when you want it.
Resource navigation. Help understanding where to call and what step may come next.
Follow-up. A way to stay connected instead of starting over every time.
Support Should Fit the Person—not the Other Way Around
Different people are comfortable with different kinds of support. Heaven-Sent's role is to help create a respectful doorway into conversation, resources, and community connection.
Veteran Peer Connection
Conversation, encouragement, practical navigation, and connection with Veteran-centered resources for Veterans, service members, Guard, Reserve, and their families.
Family & Caregiver Support
A place for spouses, caregivers, parents, and families to talk through practical needs, identify resources, and find a responsible next step.
Faith & Pastoral Support
Prayer, listening, encouragement, grief support, and pastoral connection for people who choose faith-centered support. Receiving other Heaven-Sent services does not depend on participating in religious activity.
Senior & Disability Connection
Dignity-centered conversation and practical resource navigation for seniors, people with disabilities, and those supporting them.
Resource Navigation
Help identifying appropriate community, VA, housing, food, transportation, benefits, casework, and other service pathways when available.
Small Groups & Community Connection
As group opportunities are scheduled, Heaven-Sent can use this page to direct people to approved in-person, telephone, or online peer-support gatherings.
All Who Served—and the People Who Stand Beside Them
Heaven-Sent welcomes people from every branch and component of U.S. military service, along with spouses, caregivers, families, survivors, seniors, and community members.
Peer Support Is Not Emergency or Crisis Care
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. If you are experiencing emotional distress or a mental-health, suicide, or substance-use crisis, call or text 988. Veterans, service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and their loved ones can Dial 988 then Press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line, or text 838255.

People With Disabilities
